Casey Stoner ending last day of training in Valencia this year, Wednesday (11/11), with satisfactory results. Ducati rider is back to being the fastest, after noting similar results on Monday.
With motors that use the new machine configurations as well as improvement in the front suspension, Stoner devouring Ricardo Tormo circuit with the best time of 1 minute 31.900 seconds.
"Today we can better understand this bike is fantastic and the weather conditions helped," said the Australian rider, who last weekend took pole position but did not join the race because of a fall while warming laps.
"I am satisfied with three days of testing here and with new characters from the motor, especially traction after passing the bend. Indeed, it is still difficult to record the best time, but this is a workout so we can make improvements to the setting.
"It's nice to break in good physical condition, without injury as in the past two years. Therefore, we can put together a program of physical exercise so that it can be in the best condition to race next season."
Stud Repsol Honda, Dani Pedrosa, was ranked number two. The Spaniard, who won the Valencia Grand Prix at the weekend, just 0.045 seconds adrift of Stoner.
Subsequently re-occupied the position of Ducati and Honda riders, namely Andre Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden. Meanwhile, Marco Melandri in fifth, and for the first time he recorded the best result in his debut with Gresini Honda, after they "divorced" two years ago.
